TECHNICAL PLANNING

It is the basis of every order, saves resources, money and valuable time on site. In addition to sound technology, this includes the holistic involvement of all trades contributing and the creation of various plans in CAD, right through to budget and personnel planning. Because only if every cog in the machine engages smoothly with the other will everything run smoothly in the end. This also includes close cooperation with the team as well as the integration of the latest technologies and trends.

COORDINATION

Frequency coordination at events is an important process for success. It ensures that all wireless devices used during an event operate smoothly. This is particularly important because at large events such as concerts, fairs and sporting events, there are many different devices all operating on different frequencies.

Frequency coordination involves planning and allocating frequencies for each device to ensure that there is no interference. I have specific knowledge as well as appropriate measurement equipment to ensure successful frequency coordination. In addition to the function of the equipment, compliance with the legal requirements is also important. Coordination and agreements with authorities should not be underestimated. In the case of technical topics, this can often be a lengthy process. It’s good when you speak the same language.

AUDIO ENGINEERING

It means the be-all and end-all at the venue. This means a computer-aided appropriate dimensioning, as well as simulation of the sound system(s). I measure the latter on site and monitor noise emissions. In the complex world of acoustics, my profound knowledge of physics and its waves comes in handy. By the way: On tour I act as front-of-house, monitor or RF technician for the band for the given situation. I know: Good planning and preliminary work saves valuable working hours at «check».
